UPDATE: As of 3:40 p.m. the snowfall warning has ended.
A snowfall warning has been issued by Environment Canada for the Central Okanagan this morning.
Snow is expected to continue all day, with 10 cm or less expected at valley bottom, where temperatures are just above freezing, and up to 15 cm expected to accumulate over elevations just above valley bottom.
Snow in the southern interior has been brought in by a low pressure system moving southeast across Vancouver.
Environment Canada warns visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow and surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
Motorists are cautioned to be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.
